7 april starte het koor inspire2live. Die avond melde er zich al 140 leden, wat we niet verwacht hadden, dus we waren erg verrast. Ik zelf ben een van de sopranen. Nu telt het koor inmiddels al 150 leden en is er een stop voor dames, of deze moeten mannenstemmen hebben dan kunnen ze nog mee zingen met ons. Want helaas de heren zijn zwaar in de minderheid. We repeteren om de 2 weken in een kerk in Alblasserdam.
We zijn nu druk aan het oefenen voor ons eerste concert dat 5 november zal plaatsvinden in Rotterdam in de Laurenskerk. Het is voor 99% zeker dat Wibi Soerjadi ons komt begeleiden. En het reportoir is varierend.
De EO is ook al opnamens komen maken van een repetietie avond van het koor. De foto die bij dit stukje staat is gemaakt door de cameraman. In Oktober dit jaar is er een uitzending waar het resultaat ervan te zien zal zijn.
