Yesterday and memorialday

Yesterday we went to the biggest harbour of the world. We went by Waterbus to Rotterdam and than we got on a ship for a tour trough the harbour.

Denny is surpristed to see the big sea ships in the harbour with all the containers.

We showed him also the place where his grandfather left the Netherlands by boat. That building is also in Rotterdam and we call it the Holland - America Line or Hotel New York.\/




Today we had Memorialday. We walked in a silent trip at 6:30 PM to a church and there we stayed 1 hour for a few talks of kids and also a F16 sergeant, he went 4 times to Afganistan.
Then we made a small walk to the cemetery for a 2 minutes silence at 8 PM and walked to a few war graves. We sang also our National Anthem.
It was emotional for all of us. We missed Grimmbo's dad he was there allways, before he died, with us. I didn't take pictures this evening but I will make some tomorrow.
